PB Trestle Table

There's really not a piece of furniture at Pottery Barn that I'm not in love with. There I said it. And now that I'm building furniture I just go into the store, look at a $200 table and think, "wow! I could totally build that for like $30!"  In fact my BFF is pretty annoyed with me for doing that.

I have loved this storage system from PB for quite some time and have build it for my kids playroom. It was one on my first things to build (and it sorta looks like it). I've learned a lot since then. Mostly about choosing better materials.

I've had these trestle tables on my radar as well, but we really don't have a need for them, or the space for them at our house. I was quite thrilled when my friends the Baroshes asked me to build a couple of them for their homeschool room.

I love how they turned out and was super excited that Mel chose that pottry barn red! Mel wasn't a fan of the stools so I threw together some plans for benches to go with them. She got 4 of these!
