Well it's officially official. Our house went on the market yesterday, the sign is up! Let the joy of housekeeping with 2 small children around begin. This morning we had to make sure the house was ready for show before we left for the day. It took us about 2 hours, and there really wasn't that much to do. The girls kept coming behind me and getting out more toys, so it took a while. Tomorrow should be better. I got the big stuff done today, so we're good to just stay picked up for a few days.
Now that the house is looking so good, I almost want to stay, but the miles we are putting on the car every week is ridiculous, it warrants a move. There are some beautiful homes near the church that I am anticipating walking through. My favorite one is still on the market, but my #2 choice has an option pending. I know that God will find us a buyer for this house and take care of finding us just the right place to live.
The city will be a big change of pace for us. Bobby is such a country boy, so we never thought this is the direction we'd be going. We always envisioned ourselves out in the real country with land and chickens or something. God must have a sense of humor, he's always full of surprises.
I am totally pumped though that we'll be just a few short miles away from one of my favorite college roommates. Shes got a little girl that is Riley's age and another one coming any day now. It will be mighty nice to have a familiar face as a neighbor.
So please pray for us, for the changes that come with moving. Pray that God will provide everything we need, as he always has! Pray for our protection and for protection for our house. We've been under attack since we decided to follow God on this journey. From drywall repairs, to car problems, to leaks in a pipe, and other hardships along the way...God is still good and taking care of us. Oh and I want to say an extra special thanks to Crossbridge Church. Without your support and prayers and extreme generosity it would have been so hard to get our house in selling condition.
More to come!
